IMPORTANT WAR WORK

VOLUNTARY INSTRUCTION CLASSES IN TELEGRAPHY Important war work is being carried out voluntarily in Hamilton by four members of the telegraphic branch of the Chief Post Office. They are engaged on the work for several nights every week. The men are Messrs W. Ineson, J. Cummings, E. S. Sweeney, and P. Bateman. They are voluntarily giving lessons in telegraphy to 49 candidates for the Royal New Zealand Air Force who are awaiting calling-up. Instruction is also being given in telegraphy by these officers to signal classes of the National Military Reserve in Hamilton.
