Mail for Occupied France
The Postmaster-General, the Hon. P. C. Webb, announces that correspondence cannot now be accepted for that portion of France in the occupation of the enemy. Persons in New Zealand who desire to communicate with relatives or friends in the enemy-occupied portion may, however, do so by using a special Red Cross form obtainable at principal post offices. Messages sent by this means are restricted to matters of purely personal interest, not exceeding 25 words in length. Letters and parcels may still be sent to that portion of France not occupied by the enemy, as well as to French colonial possessions.
