REPORTED KILLED
PILOT FROM FEILDING (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Monday The following air casualty is announced:— Pilot-Officer Anthony Seton Luxmoorc, previously reported missing, now reported killed in action. His father is Mr H. C. C. Luxmoore, of Cunningham’s, rural delivery, Feilding. Pilot-Officer Luxmoore took part in a spectacular raid on the German island of Sylt in March. FORMER ALL-BLACK AIRMAN REPORTED MISSING (By Telegrapn.—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday Pilot-Officer D. G. Cobden, formerly a well-known footballer and a 1937 All Black, is reported missing as a result of air operations, according to advice received by his parents from London. A Canterbury wing three-quarter, D. G. Cobden took the field in the first Test, New Zealand v. South Africa, at Wellington in 1937. He was injured in the leg in the first quarter, and the match was won by New Zealand, playing a man short.
