WEDDING

WHITEHEAD—COOPER The wedding was quietly celebrated at St. Mark’s Church, Remuera, on Saturday morning of Miss Frances Cooper, only daughter of Dr. and Mrs H. A. Cooper, of Arney Road, Remuera, and Mr Henry Whitehead, of Ongarue, only son of the late Mr Harold Whitehead and the late Mrs MariorP Pleydell-Bou-berie, of Birkdale, Lancashire. England. Canon P. Houghton performed the ceremony and Professor H. Hollinrake was the organist. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a charming cyclamen ensemble, with navy accessories, and a spray of cyclamen shaded flowers on the lapel of her coat. She was attended, by Miss Bunty Reyburn, who was in a powder blue frock with a coat in a deeper shade, and black accessories. She wove a corsage spray of pink carnations. The bridegroom was attended by Mr Ken Sandford (Hamilton) as best man.

Following the ceremony, a reception at which only relatives and intimate friends were present, was held at the home of the bride’s parents. The guests were received by Dr. and Mrs Cooper, the latter wearing a rust-coloured frock with a black skunk cape and a rust-coloured hat. A spray of primroses was worn on her frock.

Mr and Mrs H. Whitehead wilt make their home in Hamilton.
