DAIRYING AT TE POI SUNNY PARK FIGURES An increase of over 2 per cent in the butterfat handled for the year ended May 31 is represented by the 333 tons of butter, 20 tons of whey butter and 357 tons of cheese manufactured by the Sunny Park Cooperative Dairy Company, Limited, Te Poi. The actual pay-outs in the previous season were 15.69 d a lb. butterfat for butter suppliers and 17.973 d for cheese suppliers. In addition there was .121 d per lb. for dividend on shares. Butter suppliers in the past season received an average advance payment over all grades of 15.67 d, and the balance available will make an average season’s pay-out of 15.92 d, and, with cream cartage added, 16.2 d. Suppliers for cheesemaking have received an average advance payment of 15.67 d, and the estimated final pay-out of 2.58 d will make 18.25 d for the season. Total charges to f.0.b., with figures for the previous season in parenthesis, are: —Butter, 2.253 d (2.244 d) ner lb. butterfat; cheese, 3.405 d (C.255d). Reference in the annual report is made to the death of Mr John Bell, -.wo was a director from 1921 and chairman for the past 16 years.
