SCHOOL HOCKEY
REPRESENTATIVE TEAM TOURNAMENT AT AUCKLAND Hamilton secondary schools will be represented by a team in the New Zealand secondary schools hockey tournament to be held in Auckland from August 19 to 24. The team is the first representative team to be chosen from secondary schools in Hamilton. The following players have been selected to travel to Auckland:— S. Brown, K. Perry, D. Miller, J. Chesterman, A. Norris (captain), K. Davan, R. Cramp, F. Rossiter, C. Cooper (Technical), A. King, R. Allen, S. Thomas, P. Senior, K. Nicholson, R. Smith (High School). The manager appointed by the Waikato Hockey Association is Mr H. George. Second Grade Representatives A second grade representative team to play Waihi at Waihi next Saturday has been chosen as follows:—Watkins (Nawton), Jones (Nawton), Sommerville (Ohaupo), Graham (Nawton), Field, captain (Ohaupo), Hutson (Nawton), Neal (Ohaupo), Edwards (Ohaupo), Crann (Nawton), S. Peterson (Nawton), Wouldes (Ohaupo). Reserves: Kilham (Arawa), Mali (Ohaupo), Mischenki (Ohaupo), Smillie (Qhaupol, O’Brien (Nawton), Johnson (Nawton).
