FALL FROM ROOF
YOUTH RECEIVES CONCUSSION HORSE BREAKS BOY’S JAW Through falling from the roof of a house at Te Mata on Saturday, Ronald John Vernon, aged 18, a Post and Telegraph employee, son of Mr W. G. Vernon, suffered concussion. He was admitted to the Waikato Hospital, where his condition is satisfactory.
A Maori boy, Raika Te Hiwi, aged 14, son of Mrs M. Te Hiwi, of Te Awamutu, was admitted to the Waikato Hospital yesterday with a broken jaw, which he received as the result of a kick from a horse.
