GILDO BEATS HUTCHINSON (By Telegrapn. — Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sunday Showing all the science and speed for which he is noted, Young Gildo outpointed Johnny Hutchinson in a 12-rounds professional contest at the Town Hall last night. In spite of heavy rain and bleak conditions, a large crowd attended. Keeping the fighting close, Gildo excelled himself and would have won by a wider margin had not both his hands gone back on him during the contest, thereby preventing him putting much power into his punches.
