FAREWELL PARTY

MRS SEDDON ENTERTAINS A jolly farewell party was given by Mrs R. S. R. Seddon at her home in Collingwood Street, to Mrs Joseph Crawford, who has left Hamilton on an extended visit to Australia, and to Mr Crawford, who is later joining the army. The guests were entertained by excellent items contributed by Mrs J. Crawford, Mrs A. Sims, Miss Rosalie Seddon (songs), Mrs H. Biland (violin solos), Mr K. Sandford, Mr Joseph Crawford (songs), Miss Rosalie Seddon, Mr M. Calder (Te Awamutu), Mr S. James (elocutionary items) and Mr S. James (pianoforte solos). Following the serving of a delicious supper, regret was expressed at the departure from Hamilton of Mr and Mrs Crawford, who have been such an asset in the musical life of the town, and best wishes for their future were extended to them.
