SUCCESSFUL MEETING
POST & TELEGRAPH ASSN. The August meeting and social gathering ol the Post and Telegraph Women's Association was, held in the lounge of the Y.M.C.A. on Wednesday, when the president of the association, Mrs E. O. Wood, presided over a good attendance of members and extended a welcome to visitors and new members. It was decided to assist at the Red Cross shop during September. An interesting talk on home nursing and diet was given by Mrs H. Luxford, who was accorded a hearty vote of thanks. The social competition was won by Mrs Banfleld. Afternoon tea was served by the hostess, Mesdames Foley, Dalton, Coleman and Miss Lloyd. Those present were:—Mesdames Wood, Bramley, Nedder, Buckland, Ineson, Banfleld, Paice, Cameron, Sherson, Coleman, Gibbens, Foley, Sweeney, Mack, Nicolas, Dalton, Stephens, Martin, Norris, Hurrell, Hinkley, Arns, Tregurtha, Von mer, Abraham, Luxford and Miss Lloyd.
