Life of Artificial Limb
The question of how long an artificial limb would last was raised in the Supreme Court at Wanganui. The medical Superintendent of the Wanganui Public Hospital, Dr. H. L. Widdowson, said that the time of usefulness varied but in the case under review where the limb was attached to a stump below the knee it would probably last from four to five years.
