FREE MOVEMENT
STOCK IN NORTH ISLAND (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Thursday The free movement of stock in the North Island is now permitted, but no cattle or sheep may be shipped from the North Island to the South Island without a permit. This is the general effect of the stock (cattle tick) regulations gazetted tonight. Previously the movement of stock in the North Island had been restricted, particularly in respect of the Waikato and parts of Northland.
