UNDER HITLER’S ORDERS ALSACE AND LUXEMBURG (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, August 8 Decrees issued from Berlin place the entire administration of AlsaceLorraine and Luxemburg in the hands of civil authorities under Hitler’s direct orders. Herr Buerkel relinquishes the governorship of Austria and is appointed gauleiter of Lorraine. Herr Robert Wagner is gauleiter of Alsace and Herr Gustave Simon gauleiter of Luxemburg.
