PARTY DISCIPLINE
RUMANIAN IRON GUARD THREE MINISTERS EXPELLED (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received August 9, 11 a.m.) BERLIN,. August 8 The wireless reported that for reasons of party discipline the Rumanian Iron Guard has expelled three of its representatives in the Ministry—M. Budisteanu, Minister of Agriculture; M. Noveanu, Minister of Inventories; and M. Bideanu, Under-Secretary. Moves Against Jews A new statute bars Rumania’s 750,000 Jews from owning rural properties, which the State takes over, and denies paternal rights to Jews whose children are not educated on national lines. No Jews can be baptised and no Jewish children can join the National Youth organisation. All Jews except those nationalised before 1918 or ex-servicemen are prohibited from membership in administrative boards, the transaction of rural business, the sale of alcohol, teaching, cinema ownership and service in the Army.
