COMPETITION RESULTS (Special to Times.) TE AROHA, Thursday. In the final of the Bald Spur Cup, played on the Te Aroha golf links, Hume beat Murphy. In the Duff Cup, Bliss beat Gardiner, 2 and 1, and in the four-bull semifinal Kenny and Arthur beat McLaren and Lindsay, 2 and 1. Saturday’s Stableford scramble was won by McLaren with a score of 35, with Mcikle second with 34.
