OBITUARY

MRS C. E. CARTER (Special to Times) CAMBRIDGE, Monday The death occurred on Saturday at Cambridge of Mrs Charlotte Elizabeth Carter, aged 85 years. She was the widow of Mr George Carter, of Northcote, and mother of Mr G. W. Carter, of Cambridge. Mrs Carter was born in England and came to New Zealand with her husband in 1879. They settled at Petone, and later at Palmerston North, going to Auckland in 1896. For some years they lived at Leamington. Their diamond wedding was celebrated in 1936.
