SAVED MANY LIVES (omcial wireless) (Received July 27, 12.45 p.m.) RUGBY, July 26 Three employees of a gunpowder factory in which an explosion occurred recently, have been decorated with the Order of the British Empire, Civil Division. The three men, though parts of the building were falling about them, continued their work in purifying large quantities of nitro-glycerine, therefore preventing what might have been a much bigger explosion, and saving many lives.
