SOLDIERS HOSPITAL ON BEACH AT THE MOUNT (By Telegraph.—T*rcs3 Association) WELLINGTON, Friday An offer to make available to the Government free a .property of 15 acres at Mount Maunganui as a site for a returned soldiers’ hospital, made to the Government by Mr E. C. Banks, of Mount Maunganui, was announced today by Mr F. W. Doidge (Opposition—Tauranga). Mr Doidge said he hoped this project would meet with the approve# of the Government and that it would go ahead with it. Mr Doidge added that site was right oil the beach and that conditions were ideal.
