CHASEABLE WOMEN
HARPO MARX’S LIST COMEDIAN GIVES REASONS Harpo Marx, the most famous women chaser on the screen, with years of practice in the pursuit of skittish young things across stages and screen, has picked his “ten most chaseable women in Hollywood.” It’s all in fun, as is practically anything the Marxes do, but Harpo says if he had his choice for a lassie to chase in “Go West,” the next Marx comedy, he would take any of the following he could get. He also gives his reasons. Ann Rutherford—lo,ooo college boys can’t be wrong. Dorothy Lamour—Nothing can be sarong. Ann Sheridan—l’ll give her two Oomphs head start. Hedy Lamarr—l clamour for glamour. Marlene Dietrich—Two reasons, both beautiful. Greta Garbo —I must catch her alone. Vivien Leigh—How fast can you go with the wind? Mae West—l’ll run up and catch her sometime. Sonja Henie—l’ve always wanted to race on skates. Zasu Pitts—l think she frightens easily.
