CURTAILMENT IN AUSTRALIA DECISION OF CINESOUND Cinesound, the Australian film production company, has decided to cease feature-length film production. Mr Ken G. Hall, the company’s producer-director, said that more than 75 highly trained technicians would lose their employment. “We hope that the closing, which results from the loss of overseas markets and the local financial position, will be only temporary,” said Mr Hall. “Cinesound Review,” the weekly newsreel, and the Cinesound laboratory will continue as usual. *
