two express trains near Berlin early this morning. Both trains were crowded. One was stationary at a station and the other was proceeding through the station.

The engine and six coaches of the moving train were derailed, also four coaches of the stationary train. This is the seventh railway disaster in Germany since the war. A total of at least 13 people is known to have been killed and 257 injured.
