Mrs H. W. Stretton, Hamilton, has returned from a visit to Wellington.
Mrs R. B. Seabrook, Hamilton, is spending the vacation at the Mount, Tauranga.
Mrs W. Cann, junr., leaves during the week-end for a holiday at Ohope Beach.
Mrs C. Haswell, Sydney, is visiting her mother, Mrs D. V. Bryant, Hamilton.
Mrs Errol Baxter, Hamilton, will visit Auckland during the Christmas holidays for the races. Mrs J. F. Fitzgerald, Hamilton, will spend the Christmas vacation at Ohope Beach. Mrs L. Hodgson, Te Aroha, will spend the Christmas vacation at Ohope Be^ch. Miss Audrey Howe, Hamilton, and Miss Nora Howe, Auckland, will spend Christmas in Gisborne.
Miss Eileen Fetzer, Hamilton, leaves on Saturday by car for a holiday in Wellington.
Mrs T. Simpson, Hamilton, will spend the Christmas vacation in Auckland.
Mrs Duckering, of Goodwood School, has left for Auckland, where she will spend the vacation.
Mrs J. Passmore, Palmerston North, is visiting her sister, Mrs K. West, Hamilton.
Mrs Percy Vercoe, Hamilton, is spending the holidays at Ohope Beach.
Miss Kathleen Moorhouse, Hamilton, will spend Christmas with Mrs G. W. Hutchison, Manly.
Mrs Norman Smith, Hamilton, was the guest of Mrs J.* Bowen, Te Akau, during the week-end for the Mac-rury-Howen wedding.
Mrs Roy Drayer, Hamilton, and Mrs E. M. Chainey, Hamilton, will visit Auckland for the races during Christmas. Mrs E. Williams, Auckland, will arrive on Saturday to visit her daughter, Mrs Alan Smalley, Hamilton. * * * * Mr D. V. Bryant took a party from Hamilton out to the Bryant Home on Tuesday night to entertain the convalescent soldiers. Guests from Raglan were invited and 3. happy time was spent in dancing interspersed with items. * * * * An enjoyable afternoon was spent by the children of members of Loyal Kirikiriroa Lodge in the Nixon Street Hall, Hamilton Errs t. recently, when the lodge entertained a good attendance of children and parents. Father Christmas arrived at 3 p.m. to distribute the gifts and novelties from a suitably decorated tree, after which he presided over a jolly tea party. WAITOA Mrs W. Wood, Waitoa, has returned from a holiday with friends in Canterbury. Mrs J. McCullam, Pukekohe, who was the guest of Mrs C. Wadam, Waitoa, has returned home. * * * * Mrs A. J. Graham, Waitoa, is on holiday in Wellington. * * * * Mrs K. Young is on holiday in Auckland.
