FAILED TO GIVE WAY PEDESTRIAN CROSSING CASE Charged before Mr S. L. Paterson, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court, Hamilton, to-day with failing to yield the right of way at a pedestrian crossing in Victoria Street on November 12, Allan Henry Marsh was fined £5. Constable A. L. Valentine stated that on the night of November 12 he saw defendant’s car go over a crossing and narrowly miss a woman pedestrian, who had to step back into the middle of the road to escape being struck.
