FALL INTO STREAM
MAORI BOY DROWNED (Special to Times) TE KUITI, Tuesday Leslie Martin, a Maori boy, aged four, i-as drowned in the Mokauiti Stream, near Aria. After playing in a field near his home, the young boy left the other children, apparently to return home. Between the field and the house was a bridge without railings, and it is assumed that he fell into the water, which is five or six feet deep.
