Cronin has been appointed coach and manager of the New South Wales rowing eight to tour New Zealand. Mr S. Raper, selector, said the rowing executive is worried about when the team will leave and the distances of the races in New Zealand. The programmes from New Zealand have not arrived, and in the meantime the crew will be all at sea regarding the training preparations. New South Wales has not been notified as to where the New Zealand championship will be rowed.
