WORK APPRECIATED

KINDNESSES TO SOLDIERS CITIZENS OF HAMILTON Appreciation of the kindnesses extended to the troops in camp at Hopu Hopu by the Mayor and citizens of Hamilton is contained in a letter received by the Mayor, Mr H. D. Caro, from Mr Percy H. Nathan, of Masterton. “One of my men,” Mr Nathan writes, “has been in camp at Ngaruawahia and is back spending a few days with us on his final leave. He cannot speak highly enough of what you and the citizens of Hamilton have done for them. I thought it only right to let you know how much your good work has been appreciated by the boys and the distant friends of the boys. Many thanks for what you have all done.”
