MENU FOR CHRISTMAS DINNER FROM PROFITS OF CANTEEN Not forgetting two pints of beer for each man, says a Sydney paper, the Christmas dinner menu for 900 aircraftsmen at the R.A.A.F. station, Richmond, is given below:— Iced Consomme Julienne. Chicken Broth. Crumb Lamb Cutlets and Tomato Sauce. Roast Turkey and Pork Sausages, with Bread Sauce. Roast Chicken and Curled Bacon. Boiled Fowl and Parsley Sauce. Vegetables: Baked, Straw and New Potatoes, Garden Peas, French Beans, Tomatoes. Plum Pudding and Brandy Sauce. Mince Pie. Wine' Trifle. Fruit Jelly. Biscuits and Cheese. Bread Rolls. Mixed Nuts. Assorted Fresh Fruit. Egyptian Coffee. Cigarettes. The cost of this sumptuous feast comes from profits of the canteen.
