MISS BRANN’S KINDERGARTEN For their “breaking-up” party, children of Miss Brann’s kindergarten entertained their parents and friends with a playette entitled “The Toys’ Christmas Party.” After the tiny tots had delighted their audience with singing and reciting, the Misses Brann, assisted by Miss Shirley Grummit, entertained at morning tea while the children presented their parents with gifts they had made during the term. Each child received a copy of “Such Things Were,” a book written for the Centennial by Mr C. W. Vennell, of Cambridge. Miss G. Brann and Miss Shirley Grummit were made the recipients of a handsome gift each, these being presented on behalf of the pupils by carol Clemow and Margaret Betts.
