OBITUARY
MRS MARY RYAN The death occurred on Saturday at the residence of her daughter, Mrs J. R. Henderson, 86 River Road, of } Mrs Mary Ryan, aged 92. Mrs Ryan , was formerly Miss Mary Griffin. Born in County Clare, Ireland, she came to New Zealand with her husband 70 years ago and lived at Dannevirke, Thames, Taupo, Russell and Auckland. Mr and Mrs Ryan celebrated their diamond wedding in I Hamilton eight years ago. Mr Ryan, who died six years ago, I was a member of the armed constabulary in the early days and later 1 joined the New Zealand police force. , Mrs Ryan is survived by two members of her family. 12 grandchildren ; and seven great-grandchildren. ! =■-=■-■=l j
