NEWFOUNDLAND FISHERMEN (United Press As«n. —Elec. Tel. Copvr'gtH) (Received Dec. 16. 12.30 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 15 Lord Derby welcomed, on behalf of the King, 200 fishermen from Newfoundland who have arrived at Liverpool to join the navy and serve on minesweepers. All are bachelors, their ages ranging from 18 to 24. It is the first contingent of 625 volunteers.

Museum Exhibits Eighteen replicas of Maori carvings have been placed on exhibition at a museum in Sydney for three months. This series was loaned by the Auckland War Memorial Museum for circulation among Australian museums.
