SUCCESSFUL DANCE

ST. MARY’S CATHOLIC SOCIAL A most successful dance was held in the Marist Hall recently, the occasion being the conclusion of activities for the season of the St. Mary’s Social Club. The hall was gaily decorated with green and white streamers, the club’s colours. During the evening a presentation of a crystal salad set was made by the Rev. Father M. J. Bleakley to Miss Joan Davis, secretary of the club, whpse marriage will take place shortly. Novelty dances were won by Misjf N. Marriotts and Mr L. Connolly. Miss E. Osborne and Mr M. Kennelley, and Miss R. Carkeek and Mr E. Chreey. Excellent music was supplied by Mr Critchley’s orchestra and supper was served by the ladies of the committee. Among those present were:—Mesdames J.
