CARNIVAL DANCE

STAFF OF MACDUFF’S LTD The social club of Mac Duff’s Ltd. held a very successful dance at Pearson’s Hall recently. The hall presented a very gay scene with streamers, confetti and snowballs, and dancing was enjoyed to music supplied by Jess Allen’s orchestra. The duties of master of ceremonies were capably carried out by Messrs B. Andrews and R. Puch. The members of the committee were Misses M. Clow, P. Heaton and Mr J. Owsley. Miss B. Mangnall and partner were the winners of the novelty dance. Among those present were:—Mrs W. Franks, blue taffeta and velvet. Misses H. Butler, pale blue taffeta; J. Douglas, mauve georgette. N. Shirley, emerald green georgette; B. Choat, cyclamen taffeta: J. Grimwood, fuchsia shot taffta; E. Stubbing, salmon pink organdi over satin; N. Berry, navy taffeta; O. Bluett, clover taffeta: V. Davies, midnight blue satin;; B. Vickers, black ensemble; A. Bluett, white satin; E. Adams, honeygold taffeta; V. Graham. black velvet; B. Mangnall, ivory net; B. Andrews, pink ninon: W. Dowling, white frilled organza: R. Puch, black ring velvet: J. Owsley, salmon pink crepe de chine; G. Smith, green frilled organdi: J.
