ENJOYABLE RECITAL

MISS J. SELLAR’S PUPILS On Wednesday evening the pupils of Miss Joan Sellar entertained parents and friends at a recital at the Centreway. A varied and enjoyable programme consisted of pianoforte solos, duets and a trio and also recitations by Miss Ruth Carbon and songs by Miss Joy MacDonald. The children rendering items were:—Margaret. Ruth and Freda Wanhill, Alison and Alan McCoskrie, Joy Finlayson, Joan and Joyce Paton, Isa and Peter Reid, Margaret Taylor, Aveline Mack, Moira McDonald. Peggy MeMiken, Cecil Muir, Joy MacDonald, Fae Seabourne, Winnie Farrelly, Molly and Nell MacPherson. Marjorie Luff. Vernba Harvey, Harvey Starkey, Howard Lopdell, XTvra Powell, Bob Pearson.

During the evening Miss Sellar was presented with a beautiful bouquet by little Margaret Wanhill. On behalf of the parents, Mr Lopdell passed a vote of thanks to Miss Sellar for the entertainment
