HAPPY EVENING
GIFTS FOR BRIDE A happy evening was tendered Miss Joy Titmarsh and Mr M. Pullman, in the Frankton Bowling Club’s hall recently, in honour of their approaching mgrriage. The hostess was Mrs M. Nock. The music for dancing was supplied by Mrs Harrison and. the master of ceremonies was Mr J. Harland. In asking Miss Titmarsh and Mr Pullham to accept the many gifts from those present, Mr Nock wished them every happiness in their future life. Mr Pullham suitably responded. Novelty waltzs were won by Mr Snowden and Miss Hurlstone, and Mr E. Ford and Miss Parker. Among those present were:—Mesdames M. Nock, Titmarsh, Harrison, P. Connolly (Ngaruawahia), N. Goodwin, Martin, Wright. Bell, Potts, Jackson, H. Roderston. Misses Joy Titmarsh, Jean Titmarsh, Vickers, Prince, N. Butt, N. Hurlstone, Woods, I. Kelly. B. Kelly, I. Mcßurney (Ngaruawahia), E. Mcßurney (Ngaruawahia), M. Dooley (Ngaruawahia), Wyder.
