SILVER WEDDING FUNCTION To celebrate the anniversary of their silver wedding and also the marriage of their daughter, Margaret Evelina, Mr and Mrs H. W. Stow held a most enjoyable social and dance in the Oddfellows’ Hall recently. Music for the dancing was supplied by Mrs Connolly’s Orchestra. Items were given by Master Pat Brocklebank, Miss Rosalie Brocklebank and Miss Yvonne Menzies. The anniversary cake was cut by Mr and Mrs Stow to the accompaniment of musical honours. Present with Mr and Mrs Stow were the bridesmaid and Mrs W. Brocklebank and Mr W. Brocklebank, who gave Mrs Stow away at her wedding 25 years ago. Mr A. Menzies was master of ceremonies.
