GIFT EVENING

RESIDENTS F.AREWELLED The residence of Mrs F. J. Hillary, Tatuanui, was the scene of a happy gift evening recently, when a number of friends gathered to farewell Mr and Mrs J. Crawford, who have been residents of Tatuanui for many years and who have now gone to reside at Papakura. Mr S. A. Colson asked the guests of the evening to accept the large array of gifts, as a token of esteem, from their many friends. The speaker remarked upon the sterling qualities of Mr and Mrs Crawford, who had at all times been willing workers in all local activities and in any movement for the betterment of the community. Mr Crawford suitably replied.
