“TANIWHARAU”
TECHNICAL SCHOOL MAGAZINE
Attractively bound and assembled, the official organ of the Hamilton Technical School, “Taniwharau,” has been issued. The magazine, which was printed and bound by the Waikato Times, deals comprehensively with the activities of the school during the year and indicates the progress that has been made in several spheres. An interesting editorial article deals with the war and the future, while following articles deal with staff changes, entertainments and lectures held during the year, and house notes. The photographs in the magazine deal with the social and sporting aspects of the school life, details of which are also included. Several short articles and poems in the publication indicate a considerable amount of literary talent among the pupils, while a number of finely-executed original sketches reveal the progress that has been made in various branches of drawing.
