HOUSE-WARMING PARTY
ENJOYABLE EVENING Friends of Mr and Mrs C. S. St. Clair, of Queen’s Avenue, Hamilton, gathered at their residence on Saturday night for the house-warming of their new home. The evening passed pleasantly in dancing, a competition being won by Mr and Mrs L. J. Rockell. Later a delicious supper was served, prior to which Mr J. Ross proposed the health of the host and hostess wishing them every happiness in their home. Mrs St. Clair received her guests wearing a frock of black and white figured sheer. Among those present were:—Mesdames J. Bushell, Cressy, A. Day, J. Hansen, J. Holland, W. Jarvis, I. W. St. Clair, W. Whittaker and L. J. Rockell. Misses Margaret Bushell, Valerie Erwood, Jessie Goodall, Beryl St. Clair, Mavis Salter, Jessie Tinsley, May Gorry, Kathleen Wallace, Edith Wallace, Muriel Whittaker.
