DEATH OF YOUNG WOMAN

HASTINGS INQUEST (By Telegraph.—Press Association) HASTINGS, Wednesday Although the direct cause of death was determined, the root cause was not revealed in an inquest to-day into the death of Miss Muriel Esther Reichelt, aged 23, whose body was found on a footpath in Hastings early on the morning of July 20.

“ There is evidence to show the cause of death, but not sufficient evidence to enable me to find the cause of the condition of the lungs and it *s possible that the question may never be solved,” said the coroner, Mr G. Ebbett. He found that death was caused by asphyxia consequent on acute dropsy of the lungs.
