BODY FOUND IN RIVER
DEATH OF MERCER WOMAN CSfieclal to Times) MERCER, Wednesday The body of Mrs Annie Crowhurst. aged 60, who had been living alone at Mercer for some time past, was found by a sawmill employee floating in the Waikato River this morning. A neighbour who visited Mrs Crowhurst about eight o’clock last evening at her home found her in bed. It is understood that Mrs Crowhurst had not been in good health lately. An inquest was opened to-day by the district coroner, Mr C. K. Laurie, J.P. It was adjourned sine die after evidence of identification had been given.
