Larger Profits
Much larger profits are disclosed by Felt and Textiles of Australia, Limited, for the year ended June 30. The parent company’s net profit at £93,822 shows an increase of £25,066, and that of the company and its subsidiaries, at £94,184, an increase of £33,428. Ordinary dividend at a steady rate of 10 per cent requires £57,899. First preference dividend takes £2400, and second preference dividend from date of allotment to June 30 amounts to £3583.
