AIR RAID OVER THE SHETLAND ISLANDS

Copyright) (Received Nov. 8, 11 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 7 It is officially announced that the naval light forces, including Polish destroyers, were engaged in action with German aircraft in the North Sea to-day. No damage was done to any ship. The enemy casualties are not known. German aeroplanes, reported to be Heinkel bombers, flew over the Shetland Islands at a great height. They disappeared in the haze under brisk anti-aircraft fire without dropping bombs.
