FRANKTON DRUIDS

VISIT OF GRAND PRESIDENT Arch Druid Bro. A. H. Oldridge presided over one of the largest meeting of Druids held in this dis- i trict for some time. The meeting was held in the Masonic Hall, Kent Street, Frankton, on Wednesday, the occasion being an official visit from Grand President Bro. Abel and Grand Sec. Bro. Lawton. Both the distinguished officers spoke for some time on matters of vital importance to members of the order, and were warmly applauded. Visitors were present from Devonport, Matamata, Morrinsville, Te Awamutu, Ngaruawahia, and Hamilton Lodges. During the evening P.D.P. Bro. Martin congratulated the officers of the Frankton Lodge on regaining the I>?e Martin Ritual Shield from Ngaruawahia after a close contest. After the business of the evening the visitors were entertained.
