SOCIAL NOTES
Mrs Dean Eyre, Auckland, is visiting Hamilton and is the guest of Mrs E. N. Valintine. Mrs M. Gilling, Palmerston North, is visiting Hamilton. Mrs H. Curling, Hamilton, visited Auckland last evening to attend the performance by the W.E.A. of the play “ Cartoon,” by Coppard. Mrs R. P. Hazard, Hamilton, has returned from a short holiday spent at Waihiki . Mrs J. G. P. Tapper, Hamilton, is spending a week’s holiday in Auckland. Miss Tui Molesworth, Hamilton, was one of the audience which witnessed the play “ Cartoon,” produced by the W.E.A. in Auckland last evening. A successful social was organised at Taupiri recently, to raise funds for the Mission Hall, when games and competitions were played and good business was done at the produce stall. The winners of the competitions were: Mrs A. F. Buss, Mrs Hansen, Mr T. B. McDowall, Mrs S. Thompson, Mrs G. Wilson and the Rev. Hayman.
