TREVACE RUNS GOOD SIX MAI OR 0 OVER FIVE BRITISH TALENT IMPROVED (By Telegraph.—Special to Times' AUCKLAND, Tuesday Conditions were perrect Tor training at Ellerslie this morning but there was not quite as much galloping as usual as a number or horses have eased up since racing at the Whangarei meeting. The course proper, with poles 50ft. out. was* available and provided excellent going. British Talent was going nicely at the conclusion of five furlongs In 1.4 4-5. This novice has done well since he last raced. The best effort over six furlongs was credited to Trevace in 1.18 2-5, the last three in 39 l-ss. It was a good trial and be was going well at the end. Pern trotted round to the three and came home in 37 3-ss. Silver Quex, arter taking 3 9 2-5 s for her first three rurlongs, completed six in 1.19 2-5. She had a bit in reserve at the finish. There was nothing between Fidelis and Every Port at the conclusion of six furlongs in 1.21 3-5. They ran the first three rurlongs in 4 1 2-5 s and Fidelis was going the better at the end. A Smart Effort The two-year-olds Harmony and Phaleron reeled off half-a-mile in 50 i-ss, the flrst taking 1?s. It was a smart effort and Phaleron flnished in front. Royal Appellant ran a mile in 1.17, Brigid Idea assisting him over the last six furlongs in 1.21 3-5. The flnal three furlongs took il 2-5 s and Royal Appellant impressed by his effort. Maioro wa- clear or Wapaugh over five rurlungs in 1.4 1-5. the best of the morning over the distance. Nlghtbeam was going well within himself while traversing three furlongs m
