Copyright) (Received Nov. 6, 3.15 p.m.) BRUSSELS, Nov. 5 The Germans carried out air raids in the north of France this morning, over Lille, Roubaix and Tourcoing. No details are available. PARIS, Nov. 5 A French official communique this morning states: “The night generally was quiet. There was artillery action on both sides in the region east of the Blies River.” Over the German Lines Reuter’s correspondent with the British Expeditionary Force says the Allied air forces have established constant air patrols across the German lines from Switzerland to Luxembourg, chiefly watching for reconnoitring aircraft, which are increasingly active; also forming the first line of defence against raids on Paris and even London. Copyright) (Received Nov. 6, 3.15 p.m.) s PARIS, Nov. 5 The Istanbul correspondent of the Paris Soir reports that high German military instructors are leaving Turkey and others will depart before December 31, declaring that the war will be here by January. This form of propaganda is not meeting with local success. Nazi technicians of all kinds are returning to Germany, abandoning important work.
