BODIES WASHED UP
* FATE OF GERMAN SAILORS SINKING OF U-BOAT ENEMY LIE EXPOSED (United Prgss Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, Nov. 4 The bodies of five German sailors have been washed up on the east coast of England. The Germans wore submarine escape apparatus and identification discs. The sailors presumably perished in attempting to escape from a Üboat which had been sunk. The Danish Government has interned the five survivors of the German mine patrol ship Este, which was recently blown up off the Danish coast, says a message from Copenhagen. According to the Swedish newspaper Gotmorgtd, the German wireless lately reported the sinking of H.M.S. Kestrel. Under the caption “ Clever Üboat,” the Swedish newspaper points out that “ H.M.S. Kestrel ” is a land training station owned by the Naval Air Arm, and is many miles from the sea. This fact is open to anyone buying pre-war issues of the Navy List, which are sold freely.
