GERMANY’S PROPAGANDA

“STUPID BRITISH LEAFLETS” “NOTHING MORE THAN LAUGHING STOCK” OUTBURST BY DR. GOEBBEUS “BRITISH DIES” (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Nov. 6, 11.5 a.m.) BERUIN, Nov. 5 . Dr. Goebbels, Minister of Propaganda, addressing Hitler Youths, said:— “If, owing to purile shyness, people abroad are ashamed of propaganda, I am not too shy to use propaganda, even tendentious propaganda, which is a dangerous weapon only if directed against the people. It can be the greatest blessing if it is used in the service of the nation. “Stupid British leaflets are unable to harm us. Nobody listens to voices from the enemy camps. “British lies cannot disturb the German people's calm balance of mind. The great British propaganda bogey is to the German people and the Army Command nothing more than a laughing stock. There is no need for us to counter lies with lies. We give only the naked truth.
