Copyrttfit) CHUNGKING, Nov. 1 The Chinese Government alleges that the Japanese have rendered 5,000,000 peasants homeless by cutting the dykes in the Hopei Province to flood out guerilla forces. Five new Japanese divisions have arrived in the Hunan Province and another drive southward along the Hankow-Canton railway is expected shortly.
