FURTHER INCREASE

BUILDING IN HAMILTON FIGURES FOR OCTOBER The building figures for Hamilton for last month disclose another remarkable increase over the figures for the corresponding month last year. There is every indication that the total for this year will set new records.- Already this year over £200,000 worth of building has been approved within the borough, while 157 new houses have been built.

Last month 22 permits were approved lor buildings valued at £lB,634, compared with 21 permits valued at £8669, in October last year. Last month permits for nine new houses were issued, valued at £BO9B, compared with eight new houses in October, 1938.
